Chrys Fey

My goal for all pen names is to write stories that give readers the found family they need through my characters; a refuge away from their lives, even if that means into an unknown world; romance that can excite them; and adventure that they may never be able to experience except through my stories.

CHRYS FEY

My nails this week are inspired by the seven main chakras. Hoping these nails will balance me because this Aries is going through it. Midweek I started to feel better after a couple of weeks struggling mentally and emotionally. Today, however, I’ve been in bed napping on and off. Feeling super drained. Fun way to spend Halloween that fell on a Saturday. 😔 Not sure if it’s the two v@ccinations I got Friday or the fact I have been stressed, exhausted, and not well in this noggin…or maybe it’s all of that catching up to me, but I’m feeling down for the count. When my mom passed away 3 years ago, I left ladybug rocks she'd painted at places that reminded me of her. I still had 13 ladybug rocks left. She's been on my mind a lot lately, and I felt I needed to do something to heal more and move forward, so I went around to places I hadn't visited yet: schools she'd worked at, our old homes (I glued ladybug rocks onto magnets and attached them to the stop signs), Barnes & Noble, and a few local Little Free Libraries. Apple cider mimosa at Keke's. Day off 🙌 Today’s #FridaySpark is SCARE. Because of all the sh!t artists are going through with A I, I wanted to shoutouts the artists who’ve created artwork for me and my books. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ @legendsofaukera @avoccatt_art @odettelocke @elleillustrationss Thank you for such beautiful artwork. I know what’s going on is hard for all artists, and there’s so much uncertainty, but please don’t stop creating your art. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Today’s Outfit of the Day is a subtle Poi$on Ivy inspired look, but my boss thinks I’m Elf on the Shelf. Me: maybe a sl*tty Elf on the Shelf. 🤣 Gardening log. Day 13. 🌱 Today’s Outfit of the Day is inspired by Mila Jovovich’s character Alice from Resident Evil. I’ve always wanted to wear this outfit. I found a red cotton spaghetti strap dress at Goodwill. It already had a slit in the back, so I used that to cut it for Alice’s look. I added a mini leather skirt and suede jacket, plus my ankle boots. I think I can get away with this at work the week of Halloween. 😘 Today Outfit of the Day is inspired by Lara Croft. I definitely do not have her body, but I’ve always loved Lara Croft and have always wanted to dress like her. I did the best with what I already had in my closest: green cargo shorts, black T-shirt, light brown belt with a gold buckle, black ankle boots, and a brown belt wrapped around my thigh in place of holsters.
